Dear BCA All Stars Kids' Ministries Volunteers:

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your dedication to serving kids each week at BCA.  You may never know the impact you have made on the lives of these little ones, but God knows, and delights in you when you show your love to others.  Thanks for giving kids a glimpse into the heart of God as you minister to them.  Kids have good days and bad days and experience deep emotions just like adults do.  For instance, each week we minister to a number of kids who are experiencing overwhelming grief due to the loss of loved ones, or a painful divorce in the family.  Kids don't naturally seek out help when they encounter these issues, so it is important that we are there for them faithfully to be a supportive person in their lives.  Even if all we do is give them a big smile and a high five, this may be all it takes to brighten their day and to keep their hearts open to the Lord and His plan for their lives.

Planning a Summer Vacation?

If you are planning to go out of town on a late spring or summer vacation, please plan ahead and determine the dates you will not be able to serve in your volunteer role.  Next step: Contact your departmental director to let them know the specific dates when you will be gone.  You can be an extra blessing to our hard working directors by trading your vacation days with other volunteers who can serve in your absence!  This eases the need to recruit to fill your spot. Thanks for doing all you can to make our classrooms run smoothly.  Many families are blessed by your dedication and faithfulness.
